Paul Jellett, who died recently, was a former senior executive with the Belfast Telegraph. He was 82.
The son of tobacconist Louis Jellett and his wife Hilda, he was educated at St Colman s College in Newry and worked for some time in England. Returning home, he joined the newspaper where he became classified advertising manager.
In the 1970s he won the prize for his entry of Downtown in a competition to name a new commercial radio station. It is still going strong today.
Former colleague Terry McCaughey said: Paul was a great boss. He was clever and eloquent, and a good salesman and manager. I learned a great deal from him.
Following agreement by the Executive yesterday, pupils in P4 to P7 will join the younger students who started back to full-time face to face teaching last week.
This will be subject to a review at the end of March.
Education Minister Peter Weir explains, “Today is a very good day for schools, pupils and parents.
“I welcome the decision by the Executive to allow the remaining primary school pupils to return next week with the intention that all pupils will be back in school from 12 April.
“My main objective has always been a full return of all pupils to school in line with public health advice.
While the majority of the current restrictions will remain in place until after Easter, the Executive agreed to gradual changes which will come into effect before the next formal review date on or before April 15.
In relation to schools, the Executive agreed that all Primary 4 to Primary 7 pupils will return to school from Monday, 22 March.
It was also agreed that Year 8-11 pupils will return to the classroom after the Easter holiday on 12 April, subject to a review of the public health situation at the end of March.
The return to face to face teaching limits the scope for further relaxations but, as a result of the efforts by the majority across society in following the public health advice and slowing the spread of the virus, Ministers agreed on the following package of easements in outdoor settings.
Patricia Donnelly Head of the Vaccine Programme says, “Everyone who is eligible for a vaccine will get one.
“Experience has shown that with each new age cohort we get a spike in bookings. Please do not panic.
“If you cannot make an appointment today, please keep trying.
“New timeslots are being released each day through March and into April and you will get your vaccination,” she adds.
The telephone booking service will not be available on Wednesday 17 March but will resume on Thursday 18 March.
The online booking service remains unaffected.
In addition to the Trust Centres, GPs are also now covering the 50 plus age range.
Virtual concert from the Lindsay Chorale
Like so many musical organisations, not only in Northern Ireland, but indeed throughout the world, Covid-19 has meant that over the past year the Lindsay Chorale have no longer been able to meet for rehearsals and performances.

Fortunately modern technology has meant that the group can meet up online, and since last September they have held weekly rehearsals on Zoom.
Of course due to a number of concerts having to be cancelled, Lindsay Chorale, like so many others have suffered financially, but thanks to the generosity of Newry, Mourne & Down Council, the group hopes to receive a grant towards tuition and music.
